We naturally understand the shock and grief that will grip our community in the wake of these revelations.

Coaching Legend Paul Brown is a carpetbagger.

Paul Brown, one of the most revered coaches in football history.

Hall of Famer. Champion. Innovator. Founder of two NFL teams. Father of the modern offense.

Carpetbagger.

Paul Brown was born in Norwalk, Ohio.

He attended college at Miami of Ohio. We checked. Miami of Ohio is in Oxford, Ohio.

Oxford is outside the city of Massillon.

And when Paul Brown left Massillon in 1941, he went to coach Ohio State University.

In Columbus.

He then started the Cleveland Browns football franchise.

Cleveland is outside the "corporate limits of the city of Massillon."

It's true.

Paul Brown then founded the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cincinnati is not in Massillon.

In 1967, Brown was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

In Canton.

In light of these shocking revelations, we will understand if Paul Brown Tiger Stadium is renamed.
