Massillon's Mayor for Life has been reduced to Massillon's Mayor for Eight Months by a woman he has referred to as "sneaky," a "puppet," and "The Third Ward Diva."

Kathy Catazaro-Perry took almost 55% of the vote in knocking Frank Cicchinelli from his throne.

It looks like the registered nurse and daycare operator is the front runner to be Massillon's first ever woman mayor.

Mayor Cicchinelli has had an unprecedented run in Massillon politics. He was the dominant political force in Massillon for almost 40 years.

That run has come to an end.
